The Kern Agricultural Foundation was founded in 1986 as a non-profit organization by leaders in agri-business and education to serve as an industry advisory committee.

The Foundation assists with agriculture curriculum development, as well as soliciting and distributing funds and specialized assets to promote agricultural education, training, student activities and scholarships.
